Chief Executive - David Brown
David is an experienced Chief Executive with over 35 years in education. He has been a Director of Education and Childrens Services, and an Executive Headteacher on several occasions. He has been described by Ofsted as a "Outstanding Headteacher".
Chief Finance Officer - Sarah Arnold
Sarah joined EPA as the Chief Finance Officer in September 2022. She was previously Director of Finance and Operations at Oxford High School. Sarah has a degree in Chemistry from Oxford University and is a Chartered Management Accountant.
Director of School Improvement - James Bird
James has worked in education for nearly twenty five years. He initially worked as a Medical Education specialist within a large teaching hospital and medical school, and led Welsh Assembly projects to develop postgraduate medical education across Wales. He retrained as a primary teacher and has worked in many roles across all primary age ranges, including senior leadership within two primary schools. James worked in an advisory role for a local authority before joining Oxford Brookes University as a teacher trainer and educational researcher specialising in learning technologies. Since 2014 he has combined work at Oxford Brookes with being Director of School Improvement at EPA.
Interim Director of Strategy - Kirsteen Roberts
Kirsteen worked for the John Lewis Partnership for the majority of her career, ultimately as MD John Lewis High Wycombe before moving to project manage delivery of new and refurbished department stores. Following a career break Kirsteen joined the Oxford Diocesan Board of Education with a focus on supporting MATs to grow and building the pipeline of new free schools. More recently, Kirsteen has worked as a consultant supporting MATs and local authorities in delivering significant change and liaising with the Department for Education.

Fiona is an experienced PA and senior administrator and has worked in the education, private and public sectors for both large and small organisations.
