The Members of the Trust established the academy trust. They form the highest level of the governance of the Trust, acting as the ‘guardians’ of the Trust and having an overview of its governance arrangements.

Gavin is Chair of the Members of the EPA. He has been a Governor at Bartholomew since February 2011. Gavin is an appointed Governor and sits on the Strategic Resources & Financial Management Committee, the Teaching & Learning Committee and the Data & Achievement Committee. He is a Chartered Accountant and Corporate Treasurer and works for a UK listed distribution business with headquarters in Oxford.
Professor Anthony Blakeborough
Professor Tony Blakeborough is on the board of members, appointed by the secondary school. Tony is an Emeritus Professor of Engineering Science at Oxford University. Tony has retired from working full time at Oxford University as a University Lecturer and College Tutor but is currently working part time as the Interim Finance Bursar and a college lecturer at Worcester College, Oxford. Tony is a Governor at Bartholomew and sits on the Strategic Resources and Financial Management committee and the Data Achievement and Sixth Form committee.
Jo is a dramatherapist working with primary aged children with social, emotional and behavioural problems. He manages a project providing therapies to schools, works clinically in mainstream and specialist provision and teaches and supervises trainee therapists. He is on the board of members, appointed by the community primary school.
Rev David Tyler
David is Rector of Hanborough and Freeland and Area Dean of Woodstock and is on the Board of Members representing the Oxford Diocese. David was previously a governor at Freeland C of E Primary and through his role as Rector has regular contact with both Freeland and Hanborough C of E Primary schools. David has two children who have attended Hanborough school and are both currently at Bartholomew school. Prior to being ordained David worked as a Chartered Accountant for a large firm in London.
Jonathan joined the Board of Members in March 2018. He currently works as a Project Manager for Help for Heroes (charity helping recovery of wounded, injured, sick veterans). Priory to this, he was a Project Manager and Business Analyst at the Poppy Factory, working for a collaboration WIS Veterans Employment Group, and has previously worked in different roles at the University of Oxford, finishing as a Project Manager in IT Services.
